45144 Royal Signals (BR Blue FYE) At first glance, 45144 appears to be a standard Class 45/1 of the 1980s. Look closer, however, and you'll spot one of its most unusual features – a distinctive black roof. Named after the famous British Army communications regiment, the locomotive received this eye-catching treatment as part of a rededication ceremony in 1985, alongside white tyre highlights. Presented in mid-1980s condition, the model features ETH equipment, sealed-beam nose ends and air-brake modifications, accurately capturing this unique member of the class.
