Techno-leaning grooves are foundational, with textures that drift toward a space where dub techno meets house. On the B side, the debut release from Naarm-based justjoe. Dreamy and pad heavy, with tech house inspired drums. This one holding a mood that taps into those deep inward states." From the artist: "Dreamscape Coma originally came about last year during my second year of living in Berlin. At the time, without initially realising, I think I was really struggling creatively and had hit one of the biggest creative blocks of my production journey. I think mentally, I had boxed myself into a corner with the sort of techno I was wanting to write, and I wasn’t sure how to pull myself out of it. Coincidentally, this period coincided with me enjoying re-finding my love for house music and spending a lot of time in Panorama Bar and the Garten, and other more house-oriented dancefloors. I just started to write whatever I was feeling at the time and letting these exciting new influences guide me. I totally let myself go creatively, instead of trying to make something that I thought I needed or wanted to make.
