One ribbon commemorates the “Twenty-ninth Anniversary” reunion held September 19, 1893, featuring a printed portrait of a Union officer above the designation “23rd Annual Re-Union 37th Massachusetts Regiment.” The second ribbon marks the “Thirty-fifth Anniversary” reunion held September 19, 1899, displaying the distinctive Greek cross badge associated with the famed VI Corps.
