Bottled to celebrate their 10th anniversary. A blend of regular spirit, alternative cuts spirit and “special water” (essentially barrel aged water) Tasted: Apr 2026 The nose displays a lot less str cask influence and more estery white fruit, honey, apricot, barley, sweet pear and sweet spice. A lot fresher than the regular Caduro with mineral laced citrus, spice, acacia and subtle raspberry, strawberry and peat. Even though it’s fresher it also shows a lovely depth and honeyed roundness, could that be down to the age of the spirit? The palate is fresh, citric and mineral. Again, less str cask influence and less honey. Subtler barley, apricot and estery white fruit. Maybe a little more peat and wood spice? Gently honeyed middle with subtle red fruit but still citric and mineral. Long, vibrant, mineral and citric finish with wet stones, dry barley and vanilla finish.
