Loaded with BIG fruit flavors reminiscent of strawberry cream with a juiciness of a ripe nectarine, this is a fruity washed coffee. Not overly heavy handed like a natural, just clean refined fruits. Oftentimes, a lot from a single producer may be too small to logistically separate and export and will be sold in a local market or will be blended in with other lots of varying quality to create a regional blend that can muddy transparency in the supply chain and doesn't necessarily financially compensate for higher cup quality. Because of this, community lots can be attached to a preconceived notion that their quality will be lower than a separated lot from a single producer. With more intentional separating, community lots serve as a great way to increase market access to smallholders across various tiers of quality for their harvests and can result in incredible coffees.
