Atkin J-43 Slope Dreadnought Baked Sitka/Mahogany B-Stock
Here is Atkins' very popular J-43, a short scale, slope shoulder dreadnought that produces timeless acoustic tone. This one has a vertical finish check on the lower bout, bass side and so is being sold at a discount. It has been inspected internally and is structurally sound- this is strictly a cosmetic issue. We touched it up a bit- check the before and after photos at the bottom of the array. All other photos are previous to the checking incident. Give us a call if you have any questions. Baked Sitka Spruce Top Mahogany Back and Sides Nut width 1-11/16" Scale Length 24-7/8" Bone nut and saddle Santos Rosewood fretboard and bridge. High gloss nitro lacquer which is aged and distressed by hand to give it that 'well loved' look and feel! Atkin guitars are built to look - and sound - like the 70-year-old Gibson that you found under your grandad's bed! If you've played Atkin guitars before, you know how bright and lively they are. Be sure to check out the demonstration video in the photo array, courtesy of Buffalo's own Doug Yeomans!
