Aiayu skriver; An elegant, square scarf made from delicate silk on traditional Nepalese handlooms. Each piece is a unique work of art with personal characteristics from the craftsman, who made it. Designed with an aiayu logo and a playful colour combination in the season’s hues. Measurements: 65x65 cm. 100% silk – Nepal Our silk is one of nature’s most delicate fibres – light, comfortable, and with a subtle natural sheen. The raw material from silkworm cocoons is spun into fine fibres, requiring minimal use of chemicals, water, and energy in the process. This silk is handwoven on large, traditional Nepali looms in a local workshop in Kathmandu, and each piece is finished by hand to minimise waste. Our aim is to preserve and support traditional craftsmanship within Nepalese communities.
