The Six Seconds in Dallas author on life as a professor turned private dick; per one blurb, he’s “as much at home with Sartre as with the crummy details of blackmail and child snatching.” This hardcover’s in decent shape — the jacket shows some wear, but a wrap got added at a previous stop; pages are only mildly toned, no marks or dog-ears inside AFAICS. A solid reading copy.
