It replaces the OEM coil bucket with a fully fabricated boxed-steel design built for high-load off-road use and mid-travel suspension applications. CAUSE OF STOCK FAILURE On the Gen 2 Raptor, the factory stamped coil bucket and upper frame mounting area is prone to a known issue where the spring bucket begins to peel away from the side of the frame under repeated high-load off-road use. This typically occurs due to: Repeated high-speed desert impacts Increased spring rates and larger tires Long-travel or mid-travel suspension setups Frame-side flex concentrated at the coil bucket mounting zone Over time, the factory structure cannot adequately distribute load, leading to separation, cracking, and deformation at the frame-side mounting point.
