The September Slipover is knitted top-down in brioche stitch. First, the back is worked by casting on stitches for the neck, which is then worked in rows with increases on both sides. After that, stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are knitted separately and gathered at the front. Under the armholes, the front and back are joined in the round, and the body is knitted in the round on a circular needle. Finally, stitches are picked up at the neck and armholes, and the ribbing is worked. Please make a swatch before you start knitting to determine the correct needle size for you. Note that the brioche stitch is difficult to measure due to its elasticity – feel free to measure multiple times. Size Guide The September Slipover should have a positive ease of approx. 10 cm. For example, if your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A slipover in size S has a bust circumference of 100 cm and would have a positive ease of 10 cm in this case.
