The Vector Optics .223 Rem / 5.56×45 mm Red Laser Bore Sight is a cartridge-style laser alignment tool for preliminary sight and optic adjustment. It is designed to fit the chamber of compatible .223 Rem / 5.56×45 mm firearms and project a red laser beam along the bore axis. This bore sight helps the user make an initial alignment of a scope, red dot sight or other optic before live-fire confirmation. It can reduce the amount of ammunition needed for the first sighting-in steps, but it does not replace final zeroing at the range. The tool has a brass body, compact cartridge-style design and uses a red 650 nm laser with power below 5 mW.
