Serving bowl Vanuatu - seconds

This serving bowl or salad bowl is only on sale because of the difference in glaze colour- captured well in the pictures. Also craquelure (or crackle) has developed on the bottom of the bowl due to the thickness of the glaze. Some potters create this effect intentionally, but as it is not part of my usual style, I have decided to offer this piece as a second at a reduced price. Although the glaze developed differently from others in my collection, the pottery itself remains just as durable and made for everyday use for many years to come. With its organic shape and presence, this handmade bowl brings warmth and character to any table setting. The size is about 28cm/11" wide and ca 9cm/3.7" tall.
