Antique Kitchen Oak Wooden Wall Hanging Georgian Spoon Rack & Candle Box c.1800 19th Century - Early 1800s A lovely piece of kitchenalia, this wooden spook rack would have been used to display spoons over the two tiers. Created from solid oak with a warm, reddish brown finish, this item is made to be wall hung and provides to display tiers and a storage box below. The display tiers, with 6 gaps in total, would have once been filled with household spoons while the box below would have acted as a candle box. The rack is now a lovely piece of kitchen decor for a rustic, cottage / farmhouse interior and is a lovely way to display crockery, cooking utensils and other decorative items such as dried flowers and herbs. The box below, with a hinged lid, is perfect for holding other small household items and treasures.
