The Alpine EVO Floating 220mm disc rotor is designed for ultimate power in extreme scenarios like hardcore Enduro and Alpine Downhill riding. Manufactured from stainless steel which is heat treated and ground for flatness, by a world leading disc manufacturer. Extra thick design gives more mass for extreme heat dissipation. The Alpine Evo design offers smooth effective braking and a durable design. Includes hole for magnet mounting. The 7 bobbin floating design allows for heat expansion without allowing vibrations on steep descents. The CNC 7075 aluminium centre lightweight construction keeps this huge rotor svelte. Designed for fitting directly to forks with 220mm PM mounts, or to 203mm PM fork mounts with the included adaptor. It may be possible to fit to forks with 160mm PM forks but this is probably a bit big for forks designed for tiny rotors! For maximum brake power and reliability its recommended to replace rotors frequently as they are a wear item. Worn rotors are a prime cause of disappointing brake performance especially when fitting new pads as you are attempting to mash a new flat pad into a concave worn rotor surface! Our great value discs make an excellent replacement to keep your rotors in peak performance without breaking the bank.
