As evening falls, stroll through the lively streets of Temple Bar and prepare for the adventure ahead. Day 2: Dublin - Belfast (B) Departing Dublin, travel north to Castle Ward near Downpatrick, internationally recognised as Winterfell, ancestral home of House Stark. The estate’s lakeside setting and medieval architecture were used extensively in early seasons of the series. Continue to Downpatrick, a historic centre of early Irish heritage, before arriving in Belfast where the Game of Thrones Studio Tour provides an immersive behind-the-scenes experience.
