Separation brings Clarity As a true 2-way component set, the Alpine BassRev™ BRV-S80C lets each driver focus on what it does best. The 8" woofer handles weight and warmth while the 3/4" cloth-dome tweeter brings the detail. With each driver working in its ideal range, you get a wide, precise soundstage with clear vocals, natural cymbals, and clean separation between instruments, so your music feels open, layered, and engaging at any volume. Subwoofer-Sized Bass Alpine’s HEDGE™ surround on BassRev™ speakers acts like performance suspension for your woofer. This unique surround lets the 8" cone move farther, with more excursion than traditional surrounds, while maintaining control. That extra, linear motion translates to greater low-end output and deeper extension, giving BRV-S80C the impact of a larger driver while preserving smooth midrange and clear vocals. The result is crystal-clear, subwoofer-sized bass from an 8" component.
