70's Harmony H-35 "Batwing" electric mandolin

70's Harmony H35 Electric Mandolin - Sunburst Here's a cool one! The Harmony H35 electric mandolin, better known as the "Batwing" — made in Chicago and famously used by Rory Gallagher on stage. These are just super fun instruments: plug it in, crank it up and you get that raw, electric mandolin sound you simply can't get anywhere else. This is a 1970s example, fully hollow with f-holes in a beautiful sunburst finish, with the classic bound top, pearloid block inlays and the batwing-shaped pickguard that gives the model its nickname. The original DeArmond-made pickup with its mesh grille sounds fantastic — sharp and cutting when you dig in, sweet and woody when you roll back the tone. The mandolin is in very good condition with only light play wear, and it plays great. Comes in its original case with red plush lining. A great addition for any player or collector — and a lot of fun for guitarists too!
