Silva Serving Spoon

The Silva leaf serving spoon is cast as a single slender branch. The handle keeps the small ridges and knots of bark, and a natural fork near the tip lets the spoon rest across the rim of a bowl or platter instead of sliding in. At the other end the branch opens into a shallow leaf: veined on the inside, lightly irregular at the edge, deep enough to lift a portion of salad, grains or a whole garnish, shallow enough to set it down without disturbing the plating. The piece is cast in stainless steel and hand-finished to a soft brushed silver that catches light without mirroring the room. At 38 cm it reads as an object on the table as much as a tool — long enough to serve from a deep bowl at arm's length, and quiet enough to leave lying beside the dish between courses. Suitable for cold and warm service. Hand wash and dry to keep the finish even.
