The Witch’s Nocturnals

Witch's Familiars - Nocturnals is the second zine in a new series by The Library of Witchcraft independent small press. 24 pages exploring familiars, power animals, spirit animals and totem animals that spend their waking hours in the darkness or on the cusp of night and day. We delve into a variety of nocturnal creatures of the British Isles, to understand how each of their unique attributes might assist you if this creature has made itself known to you as familiar or spirit animal. We look at folklore and superstition and how you may work with any or all who present themselves to you as some variety of animal guide. With beautiful illustrations, this zine makes a wonderful stand alone edition or is the perfect accompaniment to its partner The Witch's Familiars - Corvids and the Hedge Witch's Wheel of the Year series. All our zines are always printed on recycled paper as we seek to be as sustainable as possible and work with, not against, nature.
