‘Arka’ Lounge Chair by Yngve Ekström

A beautiful example of Scandinavian mid-century design, the iconic Arka lounge chair was designed by Swedish designer Yngve Ekström in the 1950s. Featuring a wonderfully curved spindle back, sculptural wooden frame and distinctive splayed legs, the chair is as much a design piece as it is a functional seat. Carefully restored and fitted with a new sage green upholstered seat cushion, complementing the warmth and natural grain of the timber.
