Antique Gold Ganesha on Simhasana

This is Ganesha as you would find him in an old temple: seated on a carved simhasana in a warm antique gold patina that brings out every detail. Look at the layered crown, the jewelled armbands, the patterned dhoti and the little mouse waiting at his feet. Each piece is cast in solid brass, then hand-antiqued so that it looks like it has been treasured for generations. As Vighnaharta, the remover of obstacles, and the lord of wisdom and new beginnings, he is the first deity honoured in every Hindu home. He is a meaningful gift for griha pravesh, a business opening or any new chapter. VASTU PLACEMENT The north-east corner or the main entrance, facing inward, is ideal. In an office, place him behind or beside your desk, on the north or east wall. Keep him off the floor, and away from the south and from bathroom walls. CARE Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Do not polish, as the antique patina is part of the design.
