Plinth Chair

Two blocks, one cloth, no distractions. The Plinth is the most architectural piece in Atelier. A squared seat sits on a solid plinth base, upholstered right to the floor so the whole chair reads as one form — the pattern runs uninterrupted from the back down through the base, which is exactly the point. There are no arms and no legs to break the line. Just cloth and geometry. This first release is finished in Dark Cacao Ikat — warm browns feathering into cream, with the softened edges only ikat gives you, handwoven by our artisans. Its compact footprint is the practical argument. It slips into a bedroom corner, works at a writing desk, or pairs either side of a console where a wider chair would crowd the room.
