GR10K X ETTE SECOND CHANCE AMULET DOLL IX - BABY BLUE

Developed as part of the GR10K x ette collaboration, the Second Chance Amulet Doll series extends the project between GR10K and ette, the art and design subsidiary of Los Angeles band julie, into a series of one-of-one utility objects. Each doll is individually constructed from available GR10K fabric remnants and production off-cuts, giving otherwise residual materials a second application through a unique combination of colour, textile and construction. Second Chance Amulet Doll IX is constructed from Klopman SUPERBANDMASTER™ poly-cotton workwear fabric in Baby Blue. The irregular, deliberately misshapen form is designed as an amulet-like object rather than a conventional soft toy, with a belt loop allowing it to be hooked, tied or attached across bags, garments and other objects. Produced as a unique piece, each Second Chance Amulet Doll differs according to the reclaimed material used in its construction. GR10K and julie branding on the reverse identifies the object within the collaborative series.
