A fantastic pair of late 19th century / start of the 20th Copeland's Spode botanical plate depicting a Meadow Saxifrage and a Wallflower on burnt orange ground surrounded by gilt leaf detailing. Highly detailed and retailed by Plummer Ltd in New York, likely to have been produced specifically for the American market. Diameter: 21 cm In great overall condition with some light surface wear - no chips or cracks. Evocative of the Chamberlain's Worcester pattern from circa 1800-1810.
