What's included Sainsbury's Natural Fine Breadcrumbs — 230g (1 original sealed retail pack) Kallo Very Low Salt Vegetable Stock Cubes — 6 × 10g (1 original sealed retail box) White onions — 500g Fresh sage — 20g Garlic — 1 whole bulb Unsalted butter — 250g (1 original sealed pack) Only water is needed in addition to the supplied ingredients. You may not need to use the full quantity of every ingredient; spare butter, garlic, sage and stock cubes can be used in other festive dishes. No eggs are required for the suggested method. Simple stuffing method Finely chop some of the onions and soften gently with a portion of the butter; add chopped fresh sage and a little minced garlic. Dissolve one vegetable stock cube in hot water as instructed on its packet. Combine the softened onion mixture with the fine breadcrumbs. Gradually add just enough prepared stock to moisten the breadcrumbs and bring the mixture together. Shape into stuffing balls or spread in a greased ovenproof dish. Bake in a preheated oven until golden and piping hot throughout. Cooking time varies with size and oven; avoid drying out the mixture. Serving suggestion: Approximately 6–8 side portions depending on appetite, preparation and accompanying dishes.
