Topography Tray

A small landscape for your desk. Every organic well in the Topography Tray steps down in fine terraces, like the contour lines on a trail map, so each basin catches the light a little differently as the day moves across it. Rings, keys, earbuds, a spinning top: everything finds its own valley! We designed it in our Portland studio and print every tray ourselves under HATCHBACK, the small making arm of Moss and Fog. Each one spends about ten hours on the printer, and you can count the passes in every terrace. 3D printed from plant based bioplastic, with fluted sides, in five colors drawn from the landscape: Moss, Limestone (a pale stone with a fine speckle), Loam, Burgundy, and Walnut (a wood filled finish with a soft grain). Each tray is printed to order. Wipe it clean, and keep it away from the dishwasher and hot dishes. Dimensions: 8.5 in long, 4.5 inches wide, and just under an inch thick.
