Segmented – Hinged Wave Collar Necklace

Description: Segmented is a continuous wave built from individual parts. Short, curving sections of brass are linked by small riveted hinges, letting the collar follow the line of the neck as it moves. Part of the Entanglements collection, it shows how separate pieces become one flowing whole. Necklace measures 16" and has a 1.5" extender as it's meant to sit close to the collar bone. Each segment is about 1 inch long, made out 2mm thick wire which makes this a very light piece. Styling Suggestions: Segmented is made for the collarbone. Wear it with an open collar shirt or a bare shoulder and let the wave catch the light as you move. It holds its own as a single statement, and it comes alive next to the Articulated earrings, which share the same hinged construction. Craftsmanship Details: Each segment is formed by hand and riveted to the next, and the collar is finished with 14k nickel-free gold plating. An elongated hook clasp at the back fastens to a short run of small rings, so the fit can be adjusted. Every piece reflects Oblik Atelier's dedication to thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship.
