Unlike glazed wares, it relies entirely on the rich natural minerals within Qinzhou Nixing clay. Under precise high temperature and controlled reduction conditions, iron and silicate elements separate out and build this luminous crystalline layer, bringing out this elegant metallic sheen. The crystalline surface is dense yet breathable. It enhances the layered aroma of dark tea, such as Liubao tea. Warm the pot by pouring hot water on its exterior, and slowly build your own patina over time. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, born from the fire of the kiln.
