Cleansol Benzotriazole (BTA)
Benzotriazole (BTA), 1,2,3-benzotriazole: C6H5N3, CAS 95-14-7. White to off-white crystalline powder / granules. Copper corrosion inhibitor: Forms a thin protective film on copper, brass and bronze that stops tarnishing and corrosion. Main applications: Cooling water and boiler treatment, antifreeze and engine coolants, metalworking fluids, metal cleaners and polishes, anti-tarnish products. Low dosage: Used at low levels – typically a few ppm in cooling water and around 0.1–0.5% in coolants and metal cleaners. Test for your formulation. Industrial grade: Pack size as listed. GST invoice, COA/MSDS on request. Wear gloves and goggles; keep away from food and children.
