See My Vest

Create a new go-to layering piece for your wardrobe! The See My Vest is a classic style that makes an excellent blank canvas for stripes, textured, and colorful yarns! You'll knit from the top down in the round, all in one piece. First, you'll cast on and knit the back yoke. Then you'll pick up and knit the vest fronts. When you've finished the fronts, you'll join the front and back in the round and knit the body. Then you'll pick up stitches and work the neckband and sleeves. What you'll learn Gauge, choosing a size Knitting top down in the round Joining the yoke into the body and sleeves Picking up stitches for the neckband and sleeves Materials Worsted-weight yarn in your chosen size (we used Colormix); US 4 + 7 in 16"-32" lengths; stitch markers; pattern. Please come to class with your yarn and pattern purchased and your swatch knit. We will email you swatching instructions when you register. Skill Level This class is for graduates of Knit 3 or those who have completed several small projects. You are confident knitting in the round, increasing, and decreasing.
