Autumn "Almonoir 2024" 750ml
Wine Details Orchard House is a vineyard with two vineyards in Hida Kokufu. The "Aki" (Autumn) series of wines are made using carefully selected grapes from that year. For 2024, 100% "Almondoir" grapes harvested from our own vineyard "Juo-do" along the Miyagawa River were used and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Almondoir is a hybrid of Cabernet Sauvignon, a premium grape variety, and Zweigeltrebe, a cold-hardy variety. It was named from "harmony," meaning harmony, and "noir," meaning black. Please enjoy its complex and rich aroma and high acidity. ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Japanese Wine Ingredients: Grapes (produced in Kokufu-cho, Takayama City) Antioxidant (sulfites) Net content: 750ml Alcohol content: 13% Production area: Kokufu-cho, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture 100% grapes from Hida Kokufu used Brewery location: Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture Vintage: 2024 Number of bottles brewed: 350 bottles ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Available exclusively in-store and online (Sales begin December 8, 2025) Check store location This is the first barrel-aged red wine produced in Hida.
