Amethyst Sea Starfish Lidded Urn Vessel

Inspired by ancient Grecian vessels that were discovered in the depths of the Mediterranean Sea, this amethyst colored glass amphora has vibrant tide pool green starfish clinging to its sides. Each starfish is hand sculpted and created with a thick layer of clear glass added on top of the color to make the starfish appear as though they were just pulled from the tide pool. John reimagines the undulations of the sand by alternating dark and light purple colors around this elegant vase.
