Overview: Chic pair of vintage multicolored jade earrings crafted in 14k yellow gold (circa 1990s). Cabochon cut jade measures approx. 4mm x 2mm each. A vibrant pair of vintage multicolor jade earrings, designed as elongated leaves or stylized feathers and set with an array of polished marquise-shaped jade cabochons in a beautiful spectrum of colors. The earrings feature jade in shades of apple green, creamy white to pale lavender, honey yellow, warm russet-orange and deep black, creating a wonderfully graphic mosaic of natural color. Each marquise cabochon is individually prong-set within an openwork yellow-gold framework, while sinuous polished gold ribbons sweep diagonally across the surface. The effect is almost botanical—the colorful jade stones resembling overlapping leaves entwined around golden vines. The earrings are fitted with post and hinged omega backings for pierced ears.
