RECOMMENDED BRACKET SPACING For 1-3/8" wood rods, we recommend supporting the rod approximately every: 40"–48" Actual spacing will depend on the weight and fullness of your draperies. Heavier curtains may require additional brackets and/or closer spacing. For longer spans, wood rods can be spliced together using a wood screw connector and supported appropriately with additional brackets.
