Robot Droppings

Is it a faux pas for a robot to lose a stray washer or drip a little oil, the way we would be mortified by an accidental sneeze, or worse, in polite company? Judging by a few of these drawings, it absolutely is. And if the comparison holds, the AZR-0 robots have it far worse than we do. An embarrassing moment passes for us soon enough. These robots of ours, on the other hand, have to gather the evidence back up and reinstall it. Dignity is complicated when your parts are detachable.
