All stamps in the set are pre-inked with an oil-based ink, and can be used within the 6-in-1 frame or removed and used individually (with individual caps for each 6 designs). Before Use: Stamps will be very juicy on first use! Make sure you stamp each design a few times onto a scrap piece of paper to remove excess ink (until the stamp prints cleanly). This will help avoid over-inked stamp impressions and bleeding on thinner paper. To insert the stamp back into the frame hold it down until you hear the same click. Tomoe River Paper: These stamps do not bleed through TRP as long as you have removed excess ink before the first stamp. The reverse side paper photo on this listing shows the level of ghosting on Hobonichi Weeks TRP, similar to that of other black inks and fountain pens. Yay! Our stamps are self inking and come pre-filled ready to go. They are easily refillable, just drop ink onto the stamp surface and wait for the ink to absorb. Once absorbed wipe off excess ink and you are ready to get stamping (we recommend stamping onto a blank piece of paper until the stamp prints clearly after an inking too, but you do you).
