BBC Three Counties Make A Difference Awards

THE EVENT: BBC THREE COUNTIES MAKE A DIFFERENCE AWARDS We’ve been invited to sing at the BBC Three Counties ‘Make A Difference Awards‘ at The Grove Theatre in Dunstable. This is a wonderful opportunity and we’ll be singing two songs on stage. We’re limited to 50 singers on this occasion and sign up will be on a first come, first served basis with a balance of vocal parts. PLEASE DON’T SIGN UP FOR A DIFFERENT VOCAL PART TO YOURS IF THE SPACES HAVE ALREADY BEEN TAKEN – it’s important we get the correct vocal balance for this performance as it’s a high profile event! Thanks 🙂 DATE: Monday 28th September 2026 CALL TIME: 5:00pm latest (On stage to sound check from 5:15pm – 5:30pm and we can’t miss our slot!) PERFORMANCE TIMINGS: Approx. 8:00pm-8:30pm. The show starts at 7:00pm and we will be seated upstairs in the auditorium for the parts of the show we’re not in. It’s a lovely event showcasing the work of the community so should be a lovely evening out! You will also receive a free drinks voucher for the night! Parking Charges and Hours: Chargeable hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday (Sundays and bank holidays are free). Rates: £1.00 for 1 hour, £1.90 for 2 hours, £2.70 for 3 hours, £4.30 for 5 hours, and £8.50 for all day. Special rules: Disabled and motorcycle parking are free in designated bay UNIFORM: The Collaboration Choir uniform colour palette is: Navy, Teal & White CLOTHING: If you have a Collaboration Choir T-shirt please wear it with dark navy jeans or dark navy trousers. No leggings please. If you don’t then a white, navy or teal top of any kind is okay. White shirts are also fine! These can be in dark navy denim, plain navy or white. No black bottoms please. FOOTWEAR: Please wear plain navy shoes. Navy, white or silver trainers are also welcomed with matching plain socks. Feel free to wear sparkly trainers. Think comfortable chic!JEWELLERY & EXTRAS: Silver jewellery preferred — sparkle away! Although there will likely be a space to leave your belongings, anything left at The Grove Theatre is your responsibility so please only bring essential items. And you may want to bring a packed tea to consume between the sound check finishing and 7:00pm – your call! There is a Wetherspoons pub nearby called The Gary Cooper and an Asda not far from the theatre but time may be limited.
