The clasp slides, so the fit is yours The steel clasp carries a slider mechanism: push it along its track and the effective length changes by a few millimetres, with no tool and nothing to unpin. That is the adjustment that matters, the one you make at four in the afternoon when your wrist has swollen half a size. For the coarse fit, the long strand is cut to length. Trim it at the moulded marks with a blade, one notch at a time, and stop when the clasp sits centred under your wrist.
