Turkey Wing Whisk Brooms – Private Class

Join Emileigh Zola for a morning of intentional crafting in a space rooted in depth, belonging, and inspiration. Known for her grounded, embodied presence, Emileigh creates a welcoming environment where participants feel seen, supported, and invited into the process of making with care. In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn to work with broomcorn (sorghum) to craft a beautiful and functional traditional turkey wing whisk broom. Emileigh will guide you step by step through the technique, sharing skills that can be carried into future broom-making. If time allows, participants will have the opportunity to create a second smaller broom to take home. Moderate hand strength is needed for this craft and use of the feet will be necessary.
