Shifter Cable Set

The shifter cable set connects the driver's hand control to the engine's transmission system. Driver Control (Front): One end of the cable set connects directly to the gear shift lever located between the driver and passenger seats. Routing (Mid-Section): The cables run along the frame rails of the go-kart toward the rear engine compartment. Engine Interface (Rear): The clevis and threaded ends of the cables (seen in your photo) attach to the shift linkage on the transmission side of the 125cc engine. This allows the driver to cycle through Forward, Neutral, and Reverse gears.
