Hand dyed in Tokyo, Japan by an artist working with botanical dyes to bring out soft, subtle, and vibrant colors. Plants used to dye Maito thread include cherry blossoms, alder, rose, madder, chestnut, mulberry, and indigo. Natural mustard yellow color. Size #10/2, 16g, 160 meters. The full range of colors available are shown in the third photo for color comparison. Each skein is hand dyed and colors may vary slightly from batch to batch.
