Polymaker™ PETG – High-Speed, High-Strength, High-Quality Filament New High Speed Formula Engineered to print faster without losing strength or quality. Its high-flow formulation enables clean, accurate extrusion at speeds up to 300 mm/s, or over 500mm/s with high-flow nozzles while maintaining excellent layer adhesion, durability and surface finish. Stronger, Smoother, and More Reliable Designed for dependable performance, our new formula delivers superior inter-layer bonding, low warping, and a clog-free experience even during long prints. The result is strong, dimensionally stable parts with a professional appearance right off the bed. Perfect for Prototypes & End-Use Parts From gears, brackets, and fixtures to outdoor tools, sports accessories, and cosplay props, Polymaker PETG provides the perfect balance of toughness, flexibility, and aesthetic quality. Its chemical resistance and temperature tolerance (~70 °C HDT) make it ideal for both indoor and outdoor functional applications. Easy to Print on Any Setup Compatible with most FDM printers, Polymaker™ PETG prints smoothly without the need for an enclosure and works seamlessly with AMS and multi-material systems for reliable filament feeding and color swaps. Parameter Nozzle temperature 240 – 260 (℃) Build plate temperature 60 – 70 (˚C) Cooling fan 20-60% Printing speed up to 300mm/s Max Volumetric Speed up to 22mm3/s on stock Bambu, up to 32mm3/s with high flow E3D hotend Retraction distance 1 - 3 (mm) Retraction speed 20 - 40 (mm/s) Closure Chamber Not Needed Drying setting 60˚C for 6h This new improved formula has massively increased layer adhesion so you can use more of a cooling fan than you could with PolyLite™ PETG. This Polymaker PETG will print much nicer when dry than when wet and it is fairly hygroscopic - so we highly recommend keeping the filament dry. If you hear "popping" or "cracking" noises when extruding - dry the filament. PETG is known for being stringy, so it is going to be difficult to get rid of 100% of the stringiness/hair on the print. That said - this new formula will barely have any string if you make sure to keep it dry. If your prints are getting excessively stringy with this new formula - then we highly suggest drying the spool at 60˚C for 6h. FAQ Is the material food safe? Unfortunately we do not have any data whether this material is food safe. As of now, no 3D printing material on the market is FDA food safe compliant. Can PETG be used for outdoor applications? Yes, PETG is UV and water-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor parts, though prolonged exposure may degrade some properties. Warning: Polymaker PETG is very hygroscopic, keep your filament dry to prevent excessive stringing. Note: Polylite PETG will be discontinued and replaced by the faster, stronger and easier to print successor, Polymaker PETG.
