SOLD US WW2 VERY EARLY M1941 JOHNSON RIFLE.....MINT SHARP EXAMPLE......POSSIBLE USMC ISSUE IN WW2!!!

This is an early production M1941 Johnson Semi-Automatic Service Rifle, used by the Marine Raiders and in the Battle of Guadalcanal. It is in excellent condition and one of the rare USMC issued serial number ranges.

• The description claims that the rifle was strongly considered as the next Army service rifle but was ultimately replaced by the Garand.
