This kókuszrost coring is used for microalgae cultivation. Soak briefly in water, then it absorbs the water and becomes fine and porous within about 1 minute. One coring can treat approximately 900-1000 ml of water, enough for two sun loungers, allowing about 16 sun loungers to be treated with an 8-pack. The kókuszrost is ideal for microalgae and has an alkaline pH, providing good moisture between the spores for the roots.
