The Scent of Temenos, developed with Homemade Aromaterapi for Margaret R. Thompson’s exhibition Temenos: The Inland Sea. This blend of essential oils, composed of notes from trees, fruits, and flowers, draws on our most elemental relationship with scent. A sensation that arrives with the breath, before thought. Ingredients and Notes Cypress: Suggests transition and creates a sense of threshold. Patchouli: Grounds the experience in the body and present moment. Cedarwood: Adds depth, stability, and resilience. Lavender: Softens transitions and introduces calm. Vanilla: Brings warmth and familiarity. Geranium: Opens a subtle emotional dimension and a sense of being held.
