Stewartstonian azalea has prolific brilliant red blooms that always draw attention. Blooms generally occur around April depending on growing conditions. It has a full, rounded growth habit that makes for a lovely shrub or hedgerow. Stewartstonian It is not commonly available but we are proud to offer it at Rocky Knoll Farm. It does well in full sun to partial shade and requires well-draining soil. Hardy to -15°F when protected from windchill.
