Our hand-quilted khadi bedspread is built from pieces of bruised and surplus khadi and saree remnants, stitched by hand by rural women in north Karnataka. There is no poly batting inside, just two layers of pure cotton khadi that make it genuinely light and breathable in a way that most store-bought quilts cannot claim to be. It is easy to wash, long-wearing, and useful in multiple ways, as a bedspread, a throw, a picnic blanket, or even a wall piece for the right kind of room.
