Resilmount A237

The Resilmount A237 is an engineered metal direct-mount bracket designed to reduce airborne and structure-borne vibration in wall and ceiling applications. It represents a meaningful improvement over conventional resilient channel, with an installation method that does not compromise acoustic performance the way typical resilient channel installation mistakes can. Compatible with wood, steel, and concrete substrates, the A237 pairs directly with 7/8" and 1-1/2" furring channels, decoupling the gypsum board from the framing or structure to stop the transfer of STC and IIC vibrations. Its simple, adaptable design makes it suitable for a wide range of wall and ceiling configurations, and a 1/4" hole accommodates a variety of fasteners. Fastening to structure requires a minimum #8 screw or masonry sleeve anchor. UL approved in 38 wall and ceiling assemblies, and manufactured under an ISO 9001 quality control system, ensuring consistent, reliable performance on every project.
