Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru ‘Combe aux Moines’

Fourrier’s Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru ‘Combe aux Moines’ 2024 comes from one of Gevrey’s great historic hillsides, a site said to have been grown on since the 7th century and set on the same revered slope as Clos Saint-Jacques and Cazetiers. From vines planted in 1928, this is one of Fourrier’s more structured Premier Crus: dark, brooding and deeply rooted, with vigorous red fruit, black cherry, redcurrant and pomegranate, all held together by bright 2024 freshness, mineral tension and old-vine concentration.
