Tolsta Tee Class

($140) plus supplies* Saturdays, July 11 & 18, August 1, 22 & 29 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm If you've been looking to enter the world of handknit tops, look no further! The Tolsta Tee is the perfect, basic raglan t-shirt to learn how to make your own sweaters and tees. Students will learn basic garment construction, including how to make and block a gauge swatch, how to make raglan-style increases, and how to customize your top so that it fits perfectly! This pattern is very riffable--jazz it up with stripes, or leave it plan! Knitters should feel comfortable casting on and working in the round. Recommended yarns are DK weight Sandnes Garn Line, Sandnes Garn Duo, MadelineTosh Wool + Cotton, Rowan Creative Linen, and Rowan Summerlite DK. Recommended needles are US 8 (5mm) 32 or 40” circulars, and US 6 (4mm) 16” circulars and 32 or 40” circulars. * Please note that supplies need to be purchased from Wasatch and Wool Yarns, but as a thank you for attending our classes, students will receive a 10% discount on all non-sale supplies (excluding patterns). Patterns also need to be purchased for the class. Students will also receive a 10% discount on the final day of class for all non-sale purchases. *Classes, if cancelled 10 days before the first day of class, can be exchanged for a future class only. We enforce this policy on behalf of our teachers who have committed their time and expertise. There are no exchanges or refunds for classes cancelled less than 10 days from the first day of class.
